Returns and Refunds Policy

At telcos.ke, we’re committed to making your experience with us as seamless as possible. Whether you shop with us online, visit our stores, or invite us into your Location, our goal is to enrich your life through technology. However, if you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help with a replacement or return. This policy applies to all purchases made on telcos.ke.


Return and Exchange Time frame

You have 3 days from the date you receive your product to request a return or exchange. This applies to new, clearance, open-box, refurbished, and pre-owned items. After 3 days, any issues with the product will be handled as a repair or maintenance matter.

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.

  • It must be in its original packaging.

  • You’ll need to provide your receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note: Do send your purchase back to our Store.


Items That Cannot Be Returned

Some products are exempt from returns, including:

  • Perishable goods

  • Gift cards

  • Software products


Partial Refunds

In certain cases, only partial refunds may be granted, such as:

  • Items showing obvious signs of use

  • Opened Boxes, or software

  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts (unless due to our error)

  • Items returned more than 3 days after delivery


Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you about its status. If your refund is approved, the amount will be credited to your original payment method within a 3 business days.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account or payment platform again.

  2. Contact your credit card company, as processing times can vary.

  3. Reach out to your payment provider if needed.

Sale Items

Only regularly priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items cannot be refunded.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they’re defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email us at info@telcos.ke and send the item to our physical store.


Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of the return. Once we receive the item, we’ll mail you a gift certificate.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift or was shipped to the gift giver first, the refund will go to the gift giver, who will be notified about the return.


Shipping Returns

To return a product, mail it to:

Old Mutual Building, Kimathi St, Nairobi

You’ll be responsible for covering the return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.

For expensive items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we’ll receive your returned item.
